Getting to IMK-IFU

The IMK-IFU is situated in the south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Garmisch-Partenkirchen lies in the south of Germany, close to Austria.

 

The Institute is easily reached

  • by car
    via A 95 and B 2 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Follow the road sign to Reutte, then turn left to "Kreuzeckbahn/Alpspitzbahn".

  • by train
    via Munich (from north) or Innsbruck (from south) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The bus route No.2 (Kreuzeckbahn) will take you directly to the Institute (leave at station "Hammersbacher Fußweg").
