Christof Lorenz

Dr. Christof Lorenz is Head of the IFU DataInitiative working group at KIT Campus Alpin. His work focuses on interoperable research data infrastructures, FAIR and open data services, and the integration of environmental observation systems across institutional and disciplinary boundaries. He coordinates and contributes to several national and international initiatives on research data infrastructures, metadata interoperability, and research data management. Christof is a member of the EOSC Technical and Semantic Interoperability Task Force, Vice-President of the EGU Earth and Space Science Informatics (ESSI) Division, and an advocate for open and reproducible science.
