I am a Senior Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at IMK-IFU, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, where I work at the intersection of hydrological Forecasting, Water Resources Operating Strategies, and artificial intelligence.
My research focuses on machine learning and deep learning applications in informed Water Resources management. I am passionate about bridging advanced computational methods and real-world water management challenges, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions facing growing water scarcity.
I also serve as Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Iran, where I have been a faculty member since 2016, supervising PhD and MSc students in water resources engineering and hydroinformatics.
