ECLAIRE aims to evaluate the effects of climate change on air pollution and plausible response strategies for European ecosystems. This project encloses the evaluation of atmospheric direct pollutants (e.g., NH3, NOx) and indirect pollutant pre-cursors (e.g., VOCs for O3 and aerosols) and pollutant dry deposition on ecosystem nutrient availability, plant productivity / C sequestration and plant species diversity at local, regional, European to global scales. Furthermore, this project studies integrate risk assessment and policy tools against climate change.
