  • Modeling and monitoring historic land cover and land use change at large scales and high spatial and temporal resolution; remote sensing time series
  • Linkage of land use change and natural ecosystems: How does agricultural land management affect ecosystem services (e.g. carbon sequestration/biomass production, food security, pollination)?
